Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day, Walt Disney 1968 Walt Disney's Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day was first released in 1968. It won an Academy Award for best short film. The short animated film was later re-released as part of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a compilation of three short subject animated films featuring Winnie the Pooh and friends. The short films, "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree" (1966), "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day" (1968), "Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too" (1974) are based on stories and characters created by author A. A. Milne. Disney's animated versions of the pooh-bear and friends stay true to creator and author A. A. Milne's original intentions and illustrations. "Honey Tree" and "Blustery Day" were directed by Woolie Reithermann; John Lounsbery directed "Tigger Too". Sterling Holloway provides the voice of pooh-bear in all three cartoons.
