Pictured here is a rare Production Cel from Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty(1959). This lovely cel, which features Briar Rose and Prince Phillip dancing to "Once Upon a Dream", is on a color laser background. This work is in great condition and is framed beautifully in an ornate gold frame with a matching fillet. A hand signed card by Mary Costa (the voice of Sleeping Beauty) is in a separate aperture below the cel. It measures 24" x 18" framed.

Sensations has an extensive inventory of hand painted Limited Edition Cels from Walt Disney and other animation studios. Limited Edition Cels are created in very limited numbers using the same hand-painting technique as production cels. Studios began issuing Limited Editions in the 1970s to give collectors an opportunity to own important works of art representing classic moments in animation filmmaking which may otherwise be unavailable.
Pictured above is a Limited Edition character cel from Walt Disney's animated classic Bambi (1942). This great piece recreates the scene where Thumper teaches Bambi his first word,"bird", while Thumper's sister bunnies look on. Disney released this cel in 1993 in a limited edition of 500. It bears the Walt Disney seal and is numbered 62/500. It measures 23" x 19" framed. $1,500 framed
Walt Disney's thirteenth animated feature film takes us on a journey through the mad world of Wonderland. Disney had a long standing affection for Lewis Carol's novels. After a series of set backs, he managed to bring Carol's stories to animated life his 1951 adaptation Alice in Wonderland. Pictured here is an original Production Set up from the classic film. The production cel of Alice (which is trimmed to image) is on a hand painted production background. In this scene, Alice surveys her surroundings warily and wonders whom or what she will meet next in Tugley Wood. This vibrant Production Set up is in excellent condition. It measures 20" x 17" framed.
