Lady and the Tramp was inspired by a short story titled "Happy Dan, the Whistling Dog"
written by Ward Greene. This was the first Disney animated feature filmed with CinemaScope, which required extra work in planning
scenes and action to fill the entire screen. "Lady and the Tramp" made its world premiere on June 16th, 1955.
Lady, a young Cocker Spaniel from a respectable home, falls in love with Tramp, a mutt who lives in the railroad yards.
They have many adventures together including a memorable spaghetti dinner by moonlight at Tony's restaurant.
Tramp's adventurous and sometimes risky lifestyle causes some tension in their relationship however when he gets
Lady thrown in the dog pound!
Tramp redeems himself by heroically saving the new baby to Lady's beloved family from a rat, and consequently
wins back Lady's heart, and the affection of her family. Pictured above is a beautiful production cel on a production background from the infamous
"Spaghetti Scene". Animation Sensations is selling this charming original vintage production setup
in mint condition for the price of $23,500 framed.
"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937) is the first full-length
animated feature film (83 minutes in length) in color and with sound
ever produced. Walt Disney
had to create a new format for making cartoons because of the tales complexity and length. Among many innovations,
he used a multi-plane camera to heighten the illusion of depth, and the
films characters were modeled after live actors and were given human
characteristics. Also, large hand painted cells and drawing boards were
used both in the feature's production and as part of the planning process.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs took four years to make, and cost 1.7 million dollars.
It premiered during the Christmas season of 1937 and was nominated for
an Oscar for Best Score. Walt Disney received an Honorary Oscar for the
film, as it was "recognized as a significant screen innovation which
has charmed millions and pioneered a great new entertainment field for
the motion picture cartoon."
The tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was adapted from a story
written by the Brother's Grimm, in "Children's and Household Tales",
published in 1812.

the original animation feature, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs".
Animation Sensations is currently selling this vintage, 1937, production drawing for $2,200.

Disney had been looking to create an all-animal animated feature based on Robin Hood since the early 1930's.
In 1973 his creation was released with Robin Hood and Maid Marian as foxes, his sidekick Little John as a bear, Friar Tuck as a
Badger, and Clara or "Lady" Cluck as a hen.
Robin Hood, to some a hero, to others an outlaw of Sherwood Forest is a master of disguise and adventure. He helps the poor
and the over taxed citizens of Nottingham with his motto: "Steal from the rich, and give to the poor".
Robin Hood and Little John consider their generosity only "borrowing from those more fortunate". His carefree demeanor
gets him in a lot of trouble, including a place at the Hangman's Gallows, but in the end his loyalty for Nottingham prevails.
In 1934, Clara Cluck debuted in the Mickey Mouse cartoon "The Orphan's Benefit". Since then she has appeared
as a semi regular character in many of Disney's productions in addtion to Robin Hood.
Animation Sensations is currently selling this original key two-cel setup and master production background "Clara
Cluck and the Rhinos" for the price of $4,500 framed.

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" A collaboration by Chuck Jones and Dr. Seuss, and produced by MGM Studios,
made its television premiere in 1966.
This family classic tells the story of a bitter and loathsome character named Grinch, who has a particular
disgust for the holiday season and all its bright festivities, present giving, feasting and singing. The Grinch is
on a mission to destroy the Christmas spirit for the Who's, a family living in Whoville. The Grinch sets out disguised
as Santa Claus along with his timid dog Max dressed as a reindeer. The Grinch begins his annihilation
of Christmas by stealing all the presents, food and of course,
the decorated Christmas tree from the sleeping Who family.
Just as he is about to dump all the Christmas cheer into a ravine, the Grinch realizes his heart has grown three times
its usual size that day, and no longer gets the same pleasure out of being so miserable. He ends up returning Christmas to the Who's
and becomes a new and improved pleasant person.
Pictured above is a lovely original production cel and background depicting an x-ray of the Grinch's heart.
Hand signed by Chuck Jones and Framed beautifully, Animation Sensations has sold this production cel.
"I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cels. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, its a way of looking at life
through the wrong end of a telescope and that enables you to laugh at life's realities". - Dr. Seuss.
